Mission:
To use the power of celebrity and the impact of our brand to inspire and motivate people of all ages. Be it through our Community efforts that are educationally based, or in game and special events we want the fantastic family fun of Lions basketball to be an experience that lasts a lifetime.

In the Community:
There are a number of further programmes in development and with the establishment of Milton Keynes Development, a not for profit organization, the MK Lions will be able to help even more children than the 16,000 who were involved this year.

For Schools;
The Marshall MK Lions run a number of programmes to further strengthen links with local schools. All our Coaches are police CRB checked and further checked by the Milton Keynes Council.

Our primary school coaching programme is comprised of a more structured schools delivery but is centered around the provision of curriculum coaching as well as after school clubs offered to primary schools in Milton Keynes, Buckingham, Aylesbury and parts of Northampton and Bedford.

Marshall MK Lions community coaches deliver a 5 week block of coaching followed up with a festival with the aim of increasing participation and awareness of the sport and providing a pathway to one of the local basketball league teams in the area.

All of the children who participated in the Primary Link Programme are subsequently invited along to a Lions match to see their heroes in action.
